Blessed be my God

 Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.

Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:

 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;

 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;

 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

 The Lord executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed.

 The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.

This is indeed the God that i serve.

The Love of J esus Christ is overwhelming.

The bible says in John 3:16-19

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

John 15:13 says greater love hath no man than this, that a man would lay down His life for his friend.

this is far beyond the love that we profess to one another, it far beyond our love relationship with our spouses, it is beyond the love relationship between us and our parent, children, friends, etc…

Jesus Christ died on the cross of calvary for you and i, just so that you and i can be save from the wrath to come. He went thru an humilating / painful death, the bible says in

Isa 53: 4-7  Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.

But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.

For no one else could do this, the sacrifice for sin offered by the priest could not do it, only the blood of Jesus Christ could, and has done it.

The bible tells us in Hebrew 10: 4- 7, 10

For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.

Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me:

In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure.

Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.

10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

people of God once will have this in our heart, the urge to sin will disappear from our lives, we will be conscious of our way of living/ our lifestyle. we will want to do the things that are pleasing to God.

And this is exactly what God wants for us to do, it a place where God wants us to get to, to do those things that are pleasing to Him.

Because whether we like it or not, we will stand before him one day to give account of our lives.
